To be seen by its customers, every company, product and brand communicates in the marketplace. In doing so, they communicate not only the value they bring to their target audience. They also communicate the values of the people behind the company, product or brand. Whether consciously or unconsciously, they communicate not just a simple advertising message, but their core, their essence and their truth.
My mission is to make your truth visible through visual communication = graphic design, because I have the gift of understanding people and their messages on many levels.

Cross-entry - the path to
my dream job

My first career in tourism took me to many beautiful places in Europe and Asia. I experienced a lot, got to know different cultures and, as a trained sommelier, tasted great wines with exciting guests. But tourism has never been my professional home. Although I had certain creative freedoms at the workplace, such as designing the wine lists or organising degustations and wine evenings, I clearly felt that this was not the way to fully express my creativity. In 2016, I decided to turn my back on tourism, but I took the idea of top service with me from that period to benefit my clients today. *

After several years as an office assistant, I decided to make a career change and pursue my dream job of graphic design.

Intensive further training to become an online marketing manager at the German Institute for Marketing (DIM), as well as in-depth studies to become a graphic designer at the renowned Online School for Design (OfG) formed the basis for this step. I realized how much I enjoy learning and accompanied my training with coaching on setting up a business.

Further courses and tutorials, such as "Digital Drawing“, "Creating Logos with the Golden Ratio" and „Nicks Logo Academy“ are constantly expanding my portfolio of graphic services to meet my standards and exceed customer expectations.

I've been self-employed since May 2023 and love every minute of it.

Further training in 2024

Since December of 2024, I have been certified as a professional photographer, and I am now equipped with a high-quality Canon 250D single-lens reflex (SLR) camera.
During my studies at the Photografie Institute, I had the privilege of learning from some of the most accomplished photographers in the field, including George Seper and Stefan Hopf. I acquired a comprehensive set of skills, including knowledge of proper lighting techniques, optimal image composition, and the selection of the most suitable equipment for photographers.

For me, creativity means...

…the freedom to express myself without the constraints of financial or social convention. I am creative when I am in a state of flow. When time and space become blurred and creating is the only thing that matters. My I-am-ness fades away - only the process remains.

Why 'je44ica.de'?

Because "simple is the hardest" - as the OfG stated during my graphic design studies.
The name of my company had to represent me and my services in an authentic, clear and simple way. So I formulated the business name je44ica.de (read [jessica-de-e:]) from my first name, the number 44 and the top-level domain '.de' (for Germany). I associate the number 44 with happiness and prosperity. In numerology, 44 symbolises success, efficiency, willpower, awareness and much more. It is therefore my talisman for the company and all its projects.
