Inspired by my good friend Hardy Engwer's new children's book, I took on the challenge of learning to illustrate. To prepare, I studied several children's books and took sketching and illustration courses (drawtut.de and domestika.org, Teresa Martínez).
The book: Mika und Spiegeling: Geschichten, die stark machen (Mika and Spiegeling: Stories that Make You Strong) is, in my opinion, an absolute must-have for parents and children alike. These are stories that promote self-confidence and courage to shape your world according to your own imagination.
Adding illustration to my skill set has been a rewarding experience.
